Go to the smartphone’s settings and make sure that it is connected to your home WiFi network. The home WiFi network must be connected to the Internet.

The robot’s app may be used on smartphones only.
Where should the robot’s charging station be positioned?
The charging station should be positioned next to a wall, on a flat surface, at a location that can be easily reached by the robot. The location must be free of any obstacles, such as rugs and carpets. Leave at least 1.5 m of free space on both sides of the station and at least 2 meters of free space in front of the station. If the station is positioned in a corner or at a location that is difficult to access, the robot will not be able to reach it. The cord of the charging station should be routed along the wall. Below is a list of the most commonly experienced problems and their solutions, sorted by the frequency of their occurrence. 1. The pairing process has been completed successfully, but the device is not connected: if your app shows that the device is not connected, close and relaunch the app. If the device continues to be invisible after completing this procedure: - Explorer Serie 40: remove the robot from the charging station, press the button and hold it for 3 seconds. If you want to pair the device with another smartphone, the button may have to be pressed several times - until the LED indicator starts flashing orange. - Explorer Serie 60: restart the robot using the switch next to the dust container. - Explorer Serie 80: restart the robot using the switch on the bottom of the device. 2. Wi-Fi connection: make sure that the WiFi password has been entered correctly. 3. Keep the smartphone close to the device and the modem until the pairing process is completed. 4. Android access point: make sure that the connection with the device is maintained after the confirmation message has been displayed. The message may appear twice during the pairing process. 5. iOS access point: after several unsuccessful attempts, reset your smartphone. 6. iOS access point: a request to connect to the “SEB_ACCESS_POINT” network will be displayed during the pairing process. Press the “Join” button. 7. Access point: after activating the access point: - Explorer Serie 40: is the LED indicator flashing orange and could two beeps be heard? - Explorer Serie 60: is the WiFi indicator flashing rapidly and can an acoustic signal be heard? - Explorer Serie 80: is the WiFi indicator flashing? Android: location services must be enabled. 12. Internet connection: make sure that the 2.4 GHz (not the 5 GHz) band has been selected in WiFi settings. 13. Cloud connection: verify that the connection with your home WiFi network has been reestablished automatically. 14. Could connection: enable your smartphones data transfer option. 15. After several failed attempt: restart your WiFi modem. 16. After several failed attempts: disconnect the device, wait 20 seconds and reconnect it. If the problem persists, reset the device (hard reset).
